NW Invitational Champions

Claremont went south of the boarder to play the NW best Lacrosse teams in the NW Invitational. A collection of elite teams from throughout Northwest from Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and BC.

Claremont pressed by defending Washington champs Bellevue in a sloppy, very wet game played at Mercer Stadium winning 9-8. Claremont then went on to defeat the Nevada champs (Coronado) 16-4, as well state finalist and semi finalists Palo Verder and Centennial winning 18-5 and 21-4.

Claremont brings the NW bragging rights back to BC by winning the invitational!!

It was another successful BC provincial tournament for the Claremont Lacrosse Program.

The Junior Teams
Both make semis, only losing one game in round robin. Claremont Jr Red lost to eventual champs Centennial 11-9, while Claremont Jr White lost to Pitt Meadows 11-8

The Senior Teams
The Claremont Sr Grade 11 team only had one loss in the round robin to Charles Best. They lost in the semi to defending champs Terry Fox

Claremont Sr Grade 12 Team was class of tourney. The team played very well winning final 11-6 and taking 5th banner in last 8 years.

On-Field Assessments for New Applicants

On-Field Assessment for all New Applicants Wednesday, April 2nd.

Coach Reisig requests the attendance of all NEW applicants to the Claremont Lacrosse Program to attend an on-field assessment on April 2nd at 1:00. The session will take place at Claremont Secondary (4980 Wesley Rd.) on the main field. Please park in the South lot, behind the gymnasium. Players must come ready to participate in a full practice session and on-field evaluation of game play.

Space Needle Champions

Claremont was victorious at the Space Needle Shootout from last weekend in Seattle.

Undefeated in round robin with scores:
8-3 over Adanacs
14-1 over South Seattle Starz
14-1 over Lake Oswego

Beat Bellevue in semi final 13-4 and then Issaquah in final 10-4.

Congrats to all the guys who participated for their efforts on and off the field.

The Claremont Senior Lacrosse Travelling Team returned from a successful trip to Baltimore. They finished with a record of 5-2. They are now preparing for the Spartan Shootout – Friday Night Lights
